Project Description

  • Project was designed to restored flood affected VHH of 5 UCS of District Dadu.

Project Out Come

  • 100 Disaster Risk Management Committee (VDRMC) have been Formed in 100 villages in 5 Flood Affected Union Council.
  • 5 (DRMC) have been formed on Union Council Level in 5 U.C
  • 100 VDRMC have been trained and equipped with skill to manage Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
  • 20000 flood affectees of 100 villages are well aware and prepared to manage future Disaster Risks Reduction (DRR).
  • 16 villages were restored the basic infrastructure of Communities, 300 Single Room Shelter (SRS) including one Kitchen and one Latrine are constructed.
  • 2189 Flood Affectees (male, female and Children) have access to Latrine.
  • 2189 Flood affectees have access to kitchen.
  • 9 Villages were provision of Safe Drinking Water, 2 Water Storage Units have been constructed.
  • 9 Village Development Associations were formed and 18 Donkey Cart Water Tank (DCWT) have been provided to 9 villages for transportation of Safe Drinking water from Water Storage Unit to their homes.
  • 450 Small Fibre Water Tank (150 gallon) have been provided to 450 VHH in selected 9 Villages. 3150 Flood affectees of 9 villages have access to safe drinking water.

Project Out Come

  • Food Assistance to miserable 5000 livestock for 4 months to improve livelihood of 1000 Vulnerable house hold (VHH)
  • Restoration of destroyed 149 water course in length 7500 out of total length 59935 in selected 4 UCs.
  • Restoration work of 100 destroyed culverts in projected 4 UCs.

Project Objective

  • The project overall objective is to improve food security status of 2,600 Vulnerable House Hold (VHH) (including women and girls) in UC Baledai, through the provision of cash crop Agriculture Input Packages (AIP) and Vegetable Seed Packages (VSP) for the 2011 Kharif Season.

Project Description

  • Project - Selection of 2,600 vulnerable House Holds (VHH) with an emphasis on vulnerable women.
  • Procurement of Agricultural Input Packages (AIP) and VSP most suitable varieties.
  • - Distribution of 2,600 Agricultural Input Packages (AIP). Each HH receives: Cotton (5 kg seed), Fertilizers (50 kg DAP & 100 kg Urea) and Small vegetable gardening package (VSP)
  • Preparation and dissemination of agricultural advisory materials on season planting techniques and latest developments. Delivery of Orientation and technical advice on sound crop management techniques to 2,600 Vulnerable House Holds (VHH).

Project Out Come

Food security status of 2,600 vulnerable households improved through provision of cash-crop Agricultural Input Packages for the 2011 Kharif season. Crop management skills improved through technical support and advisory services.

  • To conduct safe delivery service to the 300 PW which are EDD in three month of project.
  • To provide PNC to the 300 PW & neo-natal service to the 300 newborn.
  • To provide EPI vaccination to the 2576 children (under one year) with help of District Health Deportment

Project Description

Project was designed to provide safe delivery facility to Pregnant Women of Flood Affected area.

Project Out Come

Project Successfully continue and total 7000 were beneficiaries in 3 months project in which OPD, Deliveries, Antenatal, Contraceptive, Vaccination and Routine test (Blood & Urine) facilities were provided.

Project successfully completed Total beneficiaries Were 11,352 Target completed: As per Project Activities the following were the Outcome. 100 Latrines have been constructed as per Projected Location in Relief Camps. 100 Hand pump were installed in Relief Camps. 50 awareness sessions on Hygiene were arranged in project area.

Project Successfully continue28 Medical Camps were organised and total beneficiaries were 8416 from Flood Affected area of Taluka Maher District Dadu in which, PHC, ANC, PNC, Neonatal & General Treatment were provided.

Project Objective

  • To support the emergency medical relief activities in the flood affected camps district Khairpur for providing health care. -To aware the community members Flood Effected Camps on basic health and hygiene practices through organized Awareness Sessions.

Project Description

10 Free health camps have been arranged in the flood affected areas in the PAIMAN districts Khairpur. OPD health camps were organized in identified areas. In consultation with health department.-Health and Hygiene messages have been given to the community in flood affected areas through 10 Awareness Sessions.

Project Out Come

Project Successfully completed and total beneficiaries are 3993 in which OPD is 3047 (General diseases , ANC, PNC, Neonatal, Contraceptive, Skin, Eye infection and Vaccination.

Project Objective

  • Increased awareness and to promote positive maternal and neonatal health behaviours around key MNH indicators namely routine EPI with special focus on TT vaccination, ANC, PNC, clean and safe delivery. - Increase access to the Maternal and Newborn Care through community involvement in maternal and child health services.

Project Description

The project is designed in a way to involve the Community directly in information dissemination and service delivery. These volunteers will be trained as peer educators to disseminate the information to the other villagers. It is important as linguistic indifference could be a barrier in delivering the information in appropriate manner. Religious leaders and teacher would be the primary targeted volunteers along with notable of village. This project hopefully would put a great impact in the behaviours of and bring about awareness revolution. The project shall cover 8UCs of Taluka Faiz Gunj and Mirwah, with major activities like bringing awareness among the people, mobilize communities to ensure proper functioning of the facilities and monitor them at their level for better and long term sustainability of resources being and have been provided to them which in turn shall enable them to establish a network at community level. Awareness sessions will be held with Male, Female, Religious Leaders, Notable Teachers Students, Private Health Providers (PHP) and especially Non LHWs area of proposed 8 Union Councils. Through Awareness Session (AS) Celebrations local festivals, especial days and this issue would also be highlighted. TT vaccination coverage will also ensure to 80 % . TBAs would be identified and proper linkages would be built with them. They may be involved in the function of health providing facilities, making functional services of public and private sector health facilities. The project through proper reporting and timely interventions of new efforts and through on the ground realities shall ensure to support and compliment the PAIMAN. More over PAIMAN shall be introduced to the communities and line departments and linkages shall be developed with NGOs and CBOs.

Project Out Come

Project Successfully Completed and 3546 Pregnant Women was TT Vaccinated, 2468 Patients are benefited in 6 Medical Camps and more the 18000 men & women are directly Participate in deferent awareness programs in one year.

Project was successfully completed Total beneficiaries Children were 2220.
Target completed: As per Project Activities Plan the following targets were achieved.
74 Toilet were constructed in 74 GGPS.
One Room in Each School (74) Rooms were renovated.
